I needed a Wii, so I went and got one, this is a boxed Wii with most of the accessories, and it was cheap, but I have no games, yet
I could test it with some of my Game cube discs, but effort!
The Wii was pretty much a Gamecube with a fancy new controller system, which it retained compatibility with, at least for the first models, later cost reduced versions dropped Gamecube compatibility. It was known as Revolution during development and it wasn't designed to be a match for other systems of the time such as the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and the Nintendo DS
The box is unexciting and is dominated on most sides by the word "Wii"
Yawn!
The most interesting side. LOOK! There's an Opera logo, I don't use Opera
Inside the box there are two trays, I don't know if this is how it was originally packed, but it all fits. In tray 1 there is, the console, PSU, nun-chuck thing, and some documentation. And in tray 2 there is the stand for the console, video cable (composite and stereo audio), Wiimote and sensor bar, which has the plastic covers missing from each end
Actually, I just noticed the contents for each tray are printed on the side, so no, it's packed wrong!
It's just a slab of white plastic, notice the ATI and Nintendo logos
My camera doesn't know what to focus on, so apologies for that
Power button with multi-colour LED, Reset, Controller sync and SD card slot under the flap, and Eject at the bottom, the disc tray on the right side (or top depending on its orientation)
The top with four hidden Gamecube controller ports and two memory pack slots
The bottom has the model label and an inlet for the fan, there is what looks like a battery compartment? TBH I haven't opened it
On the back we have Power, Sensor bar, Video out, fan port, and two USB sockets
The Wiimote, it has some buttons on the front, and a trigger on the back, the LED's at the bottom can show the battery level, and which controller the console has registered it as (1 to 4). It can be used as a typical NES controller with the D-Pad and 1 and 2 buttons, but combined with the sensor bar, it does know where it is in relation to the console, meaning you can wave it around like a glow-stick at a rave, which was used a lot.
I have used AA batteries, but you could get rechargeable battery packs
You may notice the wrist strap, this was an attempt to stop the controller flying out of your hand and smashing the TV screen. During my TV repair days this happened "more than a few times"
There appears to be IR LED's in here, there are IR LED's in the sensor bar as well, but I haven't looked into how it all works, I expect it's all been reverse engineered and published on the 'net somewhere
Here is a rubber bumper cover, so when you let go of it in mid swing and it bounces off your younger siblings head, it don't hurt quite so much
This is the nun-chuck thing, it plugs into the bottom and has an analogue stick with two buttons
Here they are all connected up together
Here is the PSU, it only outputs 12V at 3.7A, doesn't appear to be multi-voltage though
Video cable with composite video and stereo audio, with official SCART adaptor
Sensor bar, this could be placed either above the TV, or below it. The plastic covers are missing so we can see the IR LED's and the angles they are placed at
The optional stand for the Wii which raises the front up a bit
Multi-language documentation
The LED in the power button can show green, orange, and red colours
First boot, no issues here other than the previous users account data was still in the memory, this was deleted when I formatted the memory
I connected it to the Wifi and it immediately wanted to do an update, but no update was found
Nothing much works now since the Wii servers were shut down
I was prompted to accept the EULA which changed nothing
Although I did get a email message telling me what I've done since the console was switched on
I think I may have to get some games, or mod it for the homebrew channel and install some emulators???
Update
I got some games...
Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games
Rayman Raving Rabbids
And they work perfectly
More updates
I bought a load of Wii stuff from a car boot sale for £35, like several box loads of stuff
No idea what was in the boxes, it could have been bricks and broken wires, but I'll try to sort it all out
Wii Fit Board #1
Wii Fit Board #2 (Boxed), and before anyone starts, I am well within the weight limit shown here, believe it or not
Rechargeable battery pack for the Wii Fit Board
Wii-mote attachments
Golf stick, something is missing though
Racquet and baseball bat attachments
U-Sing microphone
Wii-mote charging station
Look at this cute little Wii-mote, look at it. No idea what is was used for originally, but it's so tiny, the only button that moves is the trigger button on the bottom, it releases something where the IR sensors are on the real Wii-motes
Wii #1 and Wii #2 in boxes, a lot of the stuff that should be in the boxes are in other boxes
All documentation found within all the boxes
Three Wii-motes with rechargeable batteries that may or may not have leaked and corroded
Another Wii-mote charging station, this one plugs in-line with the Wii PSU rather than use USB
Not sure what this is, it looks like a wireless sensor bar?
Six Wii-motes and four nun-chuck accessories
The controller pad that plugs in the bottom of the Wii-mote
The motion plus accessory
Four sensor bars
Four video cables
Another third party video cable, I think it's for Component video?
Two SCART adaptors
Five PSU's
Two Wii stands
Five rubber covers for the Wii-mote
One rubber cover for the Wii-mote with motion plus
Two coloured covers
Two more Wii's (Four in total)

I saw this in Gamescene for a whole £1.99
It was boxed, and it really was £1.99
The box is in good condition
Just in case you didn't know
Multi language warranty leaflet that nobody ever reads, no other instructions are present other than what's in the disc case
I already have this disc, but another is nice
The tablet is still in the packaging
Here is the tablet
The Wiimote plugs in using the normal plug/socket
The stylus has a holder
The stylus is quite chunky, and has a button on the side, the tip also clicks in
The Wiimote slots in from the top
Looks quite tidy, the cover for the cable is missing, but £1.99
The drawing area is quite small, and feels like a resistive panel
Component cable
I picked this up from FB Marketplace
