I found my pocket LCD TV from back in the day, I have been looking for this for ages. I thought it may have been thrown out or given away. But anyway this is my Casio TV-100, it was sold under many different brands back in the day, for the UK it was Casio, the watch manufacturer
This is the bottom of the range model, it offers no features other than a small 1.5 inch backlit screen, an RF tuner and a headphone socket
The speaker grill, it's a decent size speaker at least
Headphone, Brightness, and volume. The brightness was pretty pointless, it went from too dark, to just right, to too bright. It didn't matter how bright the ambient lighting was. And on the other side was external power, on/off switch, and the long external antenna
A close up of the screen area, it always annoyed me the screen is not centered
No leakage here because the batteries didn't last long enough to leak, so it was mainly used with external power, while parked up in the car
The aerial is l o n g
After all this time I was expecting the LCD to have failed, but after putting in some batteries, it fired into life, the green bar is the tuning indicator which starts searching as soon as it's switched on
No OTA analogue signals exist here anymore, so I guess I could try to hook up a Pong console or a Spectrum at some point
However these days my ancient eyes have no chance playing anything on this tiny screen
