I've been wanting an Atari Flashback for a while, and managed to pick this up, I didn't realise they had different versions for the different Atari machines, so I need to get a 2600 one now!
Box is in ok condition
You may notice the missing PSU, it's a 9v with a barrel plug, similar to a Speccy PSU, but centre positive, also someone has written some operation instructions on the lid
It is tiny, but looks good, it's based on the Atari 7800 but has a different label
Composite video out with mono audio, and the power socket, this unit does not run from batteries
Side profile looks like the 7800
Two nine pin DSub connectors, no idea if they are compatible with older Joysticks
The controllers are smaller versions of the Proline 7800 controllers, with two extra buttons, the Proline joysticks are regarded as one of the worst joysticks ever, my 7800 has controllers more like what comes with the NES or Master system
The video cable, it didn't come with the PSU, so is untested at this time
Update
As with the 2600 Flashback version, the power supply from the Leap TV works, so lets get on with it
The Flashback version 9 boots straight into the game selection menu, moving the controller selects which cartridge is highlighted in the pile at the sides, you can also select the console itself, which brings up the information screen below
You only get a choice of twenty games here
Here is Asteroids, which is the built in game on both my Atari 7800's, if you look at the screen for Asteroids on the 7800, it's clearly been modified for the Flashback
