I've wanted one of these for ages, and now I got one, it's Amstrad's attempt to get a bit more life out the CPC range of computers, similar in specification to the CPC464, but with a couple of small upgrades which found their way into the CPC464+
The console is quite small and looks a bit futuristic, there is an LED, cartridge socket, power switch and pause button, which is mapped to the letter P on a keyboard, and the Amstrad logo
Left to right on the front, headphone, controller one, an analogue controller port, controller two, and a light gun socket
Left to right on the rear, two power sockets, one is for the supplied PSU, and the other is for the monitor from the CPC computers, video socket for the CPC monitors, a SCART socket which is rare on consoles, the HL switch for some markets, and an RF output
The console is quite small and light compared to other consoles of the era
The cartridge fits in the top, there is a little tab that pops out when the console is on preventing insertion or removal when the console is on, like the Gameboy
The controllers are quite small, think NES or Master system sized
This just looks like an off the shelf PSU with an Amstrad label applied
I only have the one game, and it is the nineties and there is time for KLAX
