Juke Jubilee
Electronic Tabletop Pinball

I was recently donated this tabletop pinball game, I normally don't collect toys but all donations are gratefully recieved and this was interesting to me at least

I thought this would be one of those cheap and nasty toys you would find at the local cash and carry that just about lasts the day then breaks. But no, it turns out it's from the 1970's and is quite sought after albeit not that valuable

There were two full size machines also called Jubilee that were much older than this one, but they are not related

The name Mark Feldstein & Associates is printed all over the box, who today seem to be known for novelty clocks, fancy cushions, and other giftware or "Innovative Products" as they claim on their website

During research about this game I saw there were similar versions of this game by Grandstand and other manufacturers

It came in the box, the instructions are long gone though

The box itself is in very good condition

Turns out this was bought from Harrods of Knightsbridge in London for £49.99

This is the contents of the box, the playfield, score board, and two feet

The playfield

Details from the playfield, including the plunger, flipper controls, ball storage area, and the remaining ball counter

The base of the playfield has the battery, and logic board compartments

Details on the base include the control to store the ball when it's not in use, the battery compartment when open which shows the game takes four D cells, which I don't have at the moment. The logic board compartment also has the volume control for the game

The connections between the playfield and scoreboard

The scoreboard, it shows the score for the current game and the high score using dials like a traditional pinball table

The yellow button on the top resets the score like a cars trip counter and there is the power switch for the game as well. The mechanism can be a bit unreliable after so many years

These are the feet which also locks the two sections together

The game fully assembled

Excuse my fat fingers, but here is the flipper in action, also there is only one ball in the game which is safely stored away can be seen

Each game has three balls, and the ball counter automatically counts down by way of a lever which gets activated when the ball runs over it. However you have to reset it manually

The plunger. I will have to acquire some D batteries and try it out ASAP
