I picked this up recently from Doorway to Dorkness in Doncaster, it's similar to my Tandy TV Scoreboard
Hanimex had imported Pong consoles from Hong Kong and rebranded them as their own, just like other companies of the time did. The 7771 was released in 1977 and features the General Instruments AY-3-8500 which offered four games hockey, squash, practice, and tennis
There was a later revision which swapped the chip for the six game version and offered the same games as above and also included two shooting games, the model number was 7771G
I have seen picture of this console with Hockey relabelled as Football
The top panel is different and the player controls are a dial rather than a slider
I got the box with this one
And the poly inserts, one of them looks like it has some kind of capacitor or battery leakage over it, this is not on the console itself
This Pong is from the four game era and features hockey, squash, practice, and tennis
The controllers feature a dial and are removable from the base
The bottom and side of the controllers
Manual score counters, there is on-screen scoring as well
Standard game options for the time
The four games are selected by a dial
The base of the unit
Close ups of the interesting parts of the base
Battery compartment
Speaker grill
Views from the side and rear
Normal RF plug
