I spotted this in a reclamation shop sat on a shelf just tempting people to turn it into a cat bed, obviously I was never going to let that happen, so haggled with the owner to let me have it for £20, you can see the optical drive has been removed, so I'm not expecting it to work, but at least it's not a shelf for tired felines
I know nothing about iMac's, but I understand this to be a first generation G3 iMac from 1998, with the Bondi Blue translucent case. According to the sticker on the base, this has a 233 PowerPC processor, 32MB RAM, 4GB Hard Disc (if still fitted), CD ROM drive, and a modem
There are two stands on the bottom to raise the unit up, or change the viewing angle
The Apple logo and the empty slot where the tray loading optical drive used to be

Not many ports are included, there are two more audio connections on the front, along with a IR port. The label says 09/07/98, one assumes this is in the incorrect format and should be 07/09/98 which makes more sense
The handle with a bag of screws taped to it, I assume these are for the optical driver mounts?
Labels on the base of the unit. I did try plugging it in, but the power supply just quietly squeals, however the tone changes when the power button is pressed, but it doesn't switch on, so this is going to need some diagnostic work
