Acetronic stood for Advanced Consumer Electronics, Ltd and seemed to be a wholly owned subsidiary of Dixons which was a British electronics store in the United Kingdom, the brand first began in 1979 and ended in 1981, and is not to be confused with the Canadian industrial control manufacturer of the same name

They sold rebranded Pong consoles from Radofin
