Dell Inspiron 530

A Dell Inspiron 530 Desktop PC I picked up from a car boot sale with a bag of spare parts recently, I used to have a Core 2 Duo Vista system, but it died and was given away

A Core 2 Duo machine with Vista, this looks a similar spec to my old ACER Aspire desktop, according to the Internet it was available with a variety of options, so I won't know for sure until I boot it up

It has a card reader installed, it's probably over USB 1.1 like my old Acer Aspire, which meant I never used it

DVD Multi recorder

Windows Vista and Intel stickers

The sides of the PC

The rear of the PC, nothing special here

Close up of the ports

Bottom of the machine

Motherboard

PSU

Back of the hard disc and optical drive

Processor and fan assembly

I also got a bag of spare parts, this is a CD ROM drive

A Pentium II CPU

An IDE hard disc

Another IDE hard disk

A floppy drive in a mounting cage

Some ribbon cables

A stick of RAM

A PSU, no idea if any of these works

Powering up the PC

You'll all be pleased to know this PC works, but it's locked and I don't have the password, so it'll get wiped at some point
