Here is another of my recent purchases from Vintage Gamer in Halesowen, this is the Radofin Sports Action TV Game, it was released in 1977 and features six games, Target, Skeet, Tennis, Soccer, Squash, and Practice. The first two require the pistol, which was included in the box
Speaking of the box, it is just a cardboard sleeve covering a polystyrene box, but is in OK condition
It also came with the instructions
Inside the box is the console and the pistol
Here is the console, you may notice the controller leads are very short, I very much doubt they were originally like this
Also the game options are pretty standard across all Pong consoles which feature the General Instruments Pong on an IC chip, which include power, options for ball return angle, speed, and bat size. Auto/Manual serve with the serve button underneath the reset button
The game is selected using a slide switch and next to that is the socket for the pistol
The view from the front, the pistol socket has been raised up above the controls
The rear of the console, the two controllers and RF lead are hardwired which was common for Pong's of the era
You can see just how short the controller leads are
The colour sticker has slightly shifted over time
The base of the console with model label and battery compartment
The controllers are the same as other Radofin, Acetronic, and Prinztronic consoles which share this style
Of course, the RF plug
The pistol
It has a silver painted plastic trigger
Close up of some details on the pistol
The five pin DIN plug
