I decided to search the term "Prinztronic" on vinted and this is what I found
One of the many Prinztronic Pong consoles that were available, I already have a few of them in my collection
Prinztronic was one of the in-house brand names of long defunct UK electronics retailer Dixons, the consoles were made in Hong-Kong by one of the many manufacturers that existied at the time, and many of these consoles were available in other markets under different brand names
The console is quite pleasant to look at and feels fairly sturdy, it feels like it could survive a fall or two
Six games are available, two of them will require the pistol attachment, which I don't have. But the selector dial feels nice to operate, like a chunky input selector on an old amplifier. So that's something
The option switches also feel nice to operate, the console feels like a premium product
The controllers are long and thin and can be detached from the unit, but the cables are quite stiff as well as being permanently attached, and they do feel like they would easily break
The base of the unit
Rest assured that this console is licenced by Magnavox
The model label with the country of manufacturer and the power requirements, which are six C cells
This recessed void is on both sides, no idea what it could be for
The battery compartment with all the labels including the serial number. There was some crusty batteries installed when I received the console, these went straight in the bin
Every console needs a "Pistol Socket"
Pistol and external power sockets, it doesn't say what power adaptor to use, maybe it does in the manual which I don't have
The whole rear of the console. It would appear the top cover is fitted incorrectly, it won't budge, so it may have been like that from the factory
The front of the console
The RF plug which is on the end of a very long lead
I do have the box which is in poor condition and barely functions as a box anymore
