I missed my original Game Boy, so I bought another one, I swapped my original one years ago, I do have a Game Boy Color, but it's not the same
A bit larger than the Color version, but the same controls. A D-pad, Select and Start buttons, then the B and A buttons, the speaker in the bottom left
The contrast and external power socket on the left, and the volume and EXT connector on the right

Switching on without a cartridge inserted brings a block down the screen, this was a form of copy protection as the boot logo image would be stored on the cartridge and compared to one stored in the boot loader, it they matched the game would start
These are the two games that came with this Game Boy, Dragon's Lair and Kirby's Dream Land, which I already had. More games can be seen on the Game Boy Color page
