Saw this on Vinted for £1, bought it, you know how this goes The Batman, if you look close enough you'll se the word "The". The console is shaped like I would assume whatever Batman's weapon is shaped like, I don't know really, it's not as bad to hold as you would expect it to be. It does feel cheap though. There's a D-Pad, three action buttons labelled A, B, and C, and a Bat shaped button in the middle Big ole power LED, power switch and an unnecessarily hard to press reset button The base of the console with and without the battery cover in place, it has a captive screw, which is good The cable exit point and company logo Composite video and mono audio First boot and first thing to report is the video output quality is horrible, really fuzzy and undefined, even for composite video Options and save slots You have a choice of four episodes initially, there is a fifth episode to unlock as well, each episode has five sub-games. Also there's lots of information on what to do The video quality is horrible, I know I already said that, but it needs reiterating, beyond that, the graphics look ok, somewhere around the 16 bit era for quality, sprites move smoothly and with a decent pace The game seems to be a mixture of action and puzzles, you need to navigate around what is a fancy maze finding items to either unlock doors or lockers while dodging attacks from enemies. You can jump and throw an unlimited amount of weapons at them. Batman's default method of moving around is to run. There are helpful hints on-screen like open doors and if an item can be searched etc Button A is jump, B is throw weapon, and C is action like search locker Here are the four episodes with their sub-games And this is all you get for the fifth episode until you unlock it R - Tape loading error, 0:1
