This is the second Ingersoll console I've picked up for the museum this month, this one came from Vinted
It's a black and white Pong console from 1977 and features six games using the attached controllers and detachable pistol. It likely uses the common AY-3-8500 chip, but I haven't opened it yet to see
It is another rebranded pong console which was likely made in Hong Kong. Another example of this console is the German Unimex Mark V-B
I have the box which is in an ok condition but no internal packaging
Just a dial to select between the six games and a power switch is all you get on the main unit. Apart from some air bubbles under the sticker
The battery cover is missing unfortunately. It takes six AA batteries or an AC adaptor
On one side are the sockets for the pistol and AC adaptor and the other side has the RF lead and hardwired controllers
Not much happening on the front and back of the console
The controllers are interesting as they use a dial and have three buttons each, which are speed, angle, and reset. These are the options that would normally be selected by switches on the console. however they are momentary buttons rather than toggle switches
The controllers themselves are quite small and would be uncomfortable to hold for extended periods, but the logo on the dials matching the dial on the main unit is a nice touch
