Ingersoll
Multi-Coloursport XK410C

Here's a familiar looking console to visitors of the Pong room in the museum. Looking very much like a smaller version of the Duette Colour C-4003 is the Ingersoll XK410C

Differences between the two are obvliously the size as the Ingersoll is much smaller and has more games available

I bought this at Forgotten Worlds in Stewarton which is near Kilmarnock in Scotland for £30

It came in the box which is in an ok condition, there was no internal packaging though

Here is the console itself, it's the same shade of yellow as the Duette which unfortunately does make it look as if it's yellowed over time, but as the image on the box is the same colour, this is how it was when new

The console seems to have been released in either late 1977 or 1978 and is a rebadged Polycon C4010 and was made in Hong Kong

The console features a General Instrument AY-3-8610 at it's heart with the optional colour IC also used

Ten games are available here, and are selected by a chunky sliding switch and include the usual eight ball games including the usual Tennis, Soccer, Squash, and Practice/Solo games, as well as two shooting games which as far as I can see were controlled with the four way analogue controllers rather than the typical optional pistol

There are a number of game options including auto/manual serve, ball speed and the bat size is player specific. No ball return angle option though

The controllers fit nicely into the console and can be removed to make play easier but are just rectangle boxes so wouldn't be comfortable to hold for long periods, but they do feature a button though

The console also features a serve and reset button, and a manual total score counter

The controllers removed from the console, there is a decent amount of cable available but it is hardwired into the console

The cable just gets shoved into the area above the controller in order to store the controllers in the console

The console needs either the 12v centre positive mains adaptor or six AA batteries for power, and other than a couple of quality control stickers, there's no model information label

The console looks quite nice and features an external power connector and TV lead on the rear, another sticker says it broadcasts on Channel 36 UHF

The sides show the the console is set at an angle
