A lucky score in a local Cash Converters, along with the Binatone Colour TV Game
Using the same form factor (and name) as the Grandstand 3600 Mk2 but with a restyled control panel and boosting the number of games by two. And utilising a simple slide switch rather than the overly complicated double switch system of the previous version to choose the game
The base of the unit houses the battery compartment and the speaker
The sides don't have much going on except one side has the external power connector
It includes the light gun which disassembles to fit in the box
The controls are similar to other contemporary consoles, and just offer a variable resistor in a cylinder shaped housing with no serve button
The box is in ok condition which means it still functions as a box, and the box opens from the top rather than the sides
Look at the man shooting the gun, he's concentrating hard
The front and back of the box, you can see I paid £19.99 for this
Both the sides of the box are the same
It came with an Ingersoll power adaptor with one of those multi plug things, it outputs 9 volts at 250mA
Remember these? I don't see them around all that often these days
Guess I need to find the Mk1 now...
Here it is working, I need to get one of my old CRT's out to check the rifle attachment
