I found this in my local recycling shop, it cost £20, it came with three controllers and the PSU. The controllers had batteries in but fortunately none of them had leaked
The S version, which was also known as the slim was a redesign of the original Xbox 360 console, and had addressed some of the issues of the original, like a redesigned motherboard to fix the overheating problems, or "Red Ring Of Death" which also makes the console smaller, and the front panel controls are now capacitive touch instead of physical buttons
The hard drive is no longer clipped to the top like the older model, it is now hidden under a removable cover on the base
It would appear dust still gets into the vents
The cover just unclips and the hard drive can be pulled out with a small piece of fabric. When this is pulled it releases a clip which stops the hard drive falling out by itself
This is the 250GB version
The rear of the unit has many ports, which are Optical audio out, the classic AV connector and HDMI video, an Aux port and ethernet, and finally three USB ports
The power socket and plug, which are different to the original
The much smaller PSU, not much going on here this time
The LED and cable exit and mains lead socket which does not have an earth pin
Three controllers came with the console, two of the battery covers are not in the best condition
Close up of one of the controllers
